HeartRateSync ("we" or "the App") takes your privacy very seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Health Data

The App accesses your heart rate data through Apple HealthKit for:

• Displaying real-time heart rate in the app
• Generating heart rate trend charts
• Providing heart rate alert features

Important: All health data is stored only on your device locally and in the Apple Health app. We do not upload this data to any servers.

1.2 Device Information

To provide device synchronization (iPhone ↔ iPad), we identify device names on the local network, but this information does not leave your local network.

1.3 Feedback Information

When you submit feedback, we collect:

• Contact information you provide (email/QQ/WeChat/phone)
• Device model information (optional)
• Feedback content

This information is used only to respond to your feedback and is not used for other purposes.

2. How We Use Information

• Health Data: Processed locally on your device only, for display and analysis
• Device Information: Used only for local network device discovery and connection
• Feedback Information: Used only to respond to your questions and improve the app

3. Data Storage

3.1 Local Storage

• Heart rate data is stored in the Apple Health app
• App settings and history are stored locally on the device
• Up to 30 days of historical data is retained

3.2 Cloud Storage

We do not use any cloud servers to store your health data.

4. Data Sharing

4.1 Device Synchronization

When you use iPhone-iPad sync:

• Data is transmitted directly via local Wi-Fi network
• Does not go through the internet or any third-party servers
• Transmitted only between your authorized devices

4.2 Third-Party Sharing

We do not share your personal information or health data with any third parties, except:

• With your explicit consent
• As required by law

5. Apple Services

5.1 HealthKit

The App uses Apple HealthKit to access heart rate data. HealthKit data is protected by Apple's privacy policy, and we fully comply with Apple's HealthKit usage guidelines.

5.2 App Store Subscriptions

In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. Your payment information is managed by Apple, and we cannot access your payment information.

6. Permissions

6.1 Health Data Permission

Used to read heart rate data collected by Apple Watch. You can revoke this permission at any time in the Health app.

6.2 Local Network Permission

Used for device discovery and connection between iPhone and iPad (Bonjour). Does not access the internet or third-party devices.

6.3 Notification Permission

Used to send heart rate alert notifications. You can turn off notifications at any time in system settings.

7. Data Security

• All data is stored locally on your device, protected by iOS
• Device-to-device transfers use encrypted connections
• We do not collect or store your passwords or payment information

8. Children's Privacy

The App does not set specific age restrictions. Minors are advised to use it reasonably under the guidance of a guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Revoke health data access permission at any time
• View and delete heart rate data in the Health app
• Uninstall the app to delete all local data
• Contact us to learn about data processing

10. Privacy Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated policies will be posted in the app with the update date. For significant changes, we will notify you through in-app notifications.
